Gail Ann O'Grady is an American producer and actor who has worked in the television industry from the age of 58. Her most well-known roles include her performances as Donna Abandando on the ABC drama NYPD Blue, and Helen Pryor on her role on the NBC series American Dreams. O'Grady is also known for her leading roles in numerous television shows. She has three times been recognized as a Primetime Emmy Award. O'Grady has been married seven times. She applied for a protective order in 1995, after breaking the news with Robert Claypool, an artist. Gail claimed that he stalked her, but she didn't get an order to restraining him.
