Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin has been an advocate for mental health, comedy advocate, writer and director of YouTube since 2015. Her previous job was as writer for BuzzFeed Video but left in 2015 along with her fellow writer and colleague Gabe Dunn to pursue work in their YouTube channel for comedy Just Between Us. Raskin is a New Yorker birthed to Jewish parents on the 20th of June, 1989. She studied at University of Southern California, where she received a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Jamin Ben Raskin, born December 13, 1963 is an American lawyer and professor of law who was an U.S. congressman for Maryland's eighth congressional district since 2017. A law professor served as the chief prosecutor for the second impeachment hearing of President Trump. Rep. Jamie Raskin decided not to seek Maryland's vacant Senate seat, and instead be seeking reelection to the House and hopes he can become chair of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. The suburbs in the inner-ring of Washington, D.C., such as Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Potomac it is part of the 8th congressional district. The district also encompasses a variety of ethnically and racially diverse communities, the most populous being Rockville and Silver Spring. Maryland, a state of the United States of America.
